Prev: type one letter on top of another; L over B (symbol for Baseline)
Next: Word 2007 as I type the top half of each character is missing
From: Cindi on 11 Feb 2010 15:16 I am using Word 2007 and have copied a file location, i.e., c:\documents and settings\general\office. When I paste that into Word, it doesn't paste as a hyperlink. When I click on Paste, the "paste as hyperlink" is dimmed. I believe that this used to work in Word 2003. Why is the paste as hyperlink dimmed? -- Cindi

Paste as Hyperlink can be used when you paste contents from one Word document into another (it's an alternative to pasting as an OLE link via the Paste Special dialog box). -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Cindi" <Cindi(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:58D6E2C2-C6C0-4F00-9DD4-C1FAEA73F532(a)microsoft.com... >I am using Word 2007 and have copied a file location, i.e., c:\documents >and > settings\general\office. > > When I paste that into Word, it doesn't paste as a hyperlink.
