From: MPW on 19 Mar 2010 13:07 I receive this prompt that there is a patchedSFC_os.dll from my McAfee program. I tried to delete the file, but can not remove it. I searched the windows sites, but have not been able to find out how to delete that file.

I never heard of it unless you enlighten us more about, it seem to em fishy file! If you mean SFC-os.dll it can be either a legitimate file ( windows file) or a viral infection. Sounds like you were hacked/infested/something 'bad'. sfc_os.dll is a process belonging to the Windows program . sfc.dll is a file that contains functions used to monitor system files for validity. It belongs to the Microsoft Windows environment. Having a "PatchedSFC_OS.dll" sounds really bad. I'd scan with MalwareBytes and SuperAntiSpyware. No guarantees that will clean it.
