From: CK on 30 Mar 2010 19:00 I have a new windows 2008 x64 that we are going to use for the SQL DB for our Navision environment. What performance tuning can I do to these to ensure that it meets our needs. We are running Navision 5.0 SP1 with the following components: fin, AR, AP sales, purcahse inventory, mfg production. Any help would be appreciated. thanks.
From: Volker Strähle on 31 Mar 2010 01:56 This cannot be said from here, but in general for SQL-Server You should use also 64-bit SQL-Server and install enough RAM. Windows, DB-Files and Log-Files should be installed on different disks. Volker
