From: Maurice Helwig on 24 Apr 2010 02:56 I have been using this address book for a lot of years now http://www.tranglos.com/free/phonedeck.html I noticed that it is not being developed anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions re a replacement for it. I have tried EssentialPIM but it does a lot more than I want and has heaps of bells and whistles that I do not want -- I need just a simple address book. I am getting ready to move over to windows 7 and I am checking all my software for compatability. Maurice helwig

There's 'Repertoire': http://wareseeker.com/download/r-pertoire-2.9.rar/316135 or even its early predecessor, the Windows 3.1'Cardfile': http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cardfile http://discussions.virtualdr.com/showthread.php?t=198802 which offers this link: http://northshorepc.com/download/cardfile.zip There seem to be countless varieties of Cardfile, some of which bear little resemblance to the original. Do a Google, and you will be spoilt for choice. -- Ian

It's really a lot easier to keep my names and addresses in a pulled-out pull-out section that comes with most pocket diaries. It's usually the only bit that gets written on! -- Ian
