From: Lono on 30 Mar 2010 20:10 Used it for years, then paid for the bannerless edition. Solid as Gibraltar except for one little bit of craziness. When I click the tray icon to open the Editor, it flashes - then disappears. To get it onto my desktop requires that all other apps be shut down. In all other respects, PhraseExpress is excellent.

Does this one nag you periodically? I believe I tried this one some months ago and it would pop up periodically with some statistics to tell me how many keystrokes / money it had saved me and then urging me to buy the commercial version. IIRC, This -- or another similar one -- 'analyzes' your keystrokes, looking for 'business' phrases that suggest it is being used commercially, in which case it will stop working until you pay for it. Maybe I'm thinking of another one? M |
