I made an error on the LC setup; it should look like this:

And, instead of looking for a null, you tune the generator for a peak on
the scope.

The reason is that the junction of the LC is magic, and were it not for
parasitic losses in the circuit you'd generate a singularity as you
tuned through resonance.


The posted RC needs a little more fleshing out in terms of theory, and
the RL is on the bench.

Maybe tomorrow... :-)

I am now back it to this scope project. Right now I try make
calibration. It is not an easy task.

It sad that so much rubbish is posted to this news group....
