From: Sally on 18 Apr 2010 00:36 My screen resolution will not save...no matter how many times I change and apply. The screen will first appear normal...than switch to huge icons/fonts. Also, at times, my screen will go totally black...then come back up..sometimes in the larger fonts again and then switch back to normal. But, everytime I turn my computer off, and bring it back up, I'm back to square one again. I've tried everything and nothing helps...it's really getting me down. Thanks for any help you can give me!

It is called "Display Adapter". Go to Start > Run Enter "devmgmt.msc" without the quotes. Click OK. Sometimes you can fix driver problems by starting XP in Safe Mode by tapping the F8 key while you perform a reboot. http://www.pchell.com/support/safemode.shtml Once the desktop is displayed, simply restart XP and run in Normal mode.

Thanks for any help you can give me! ----- Hi, look at all of your fans, especially the power-supply; overheating can cause lots of odd behaviour, even similar to what you are experiencing.
