From: "Werner "Menneisyys" Ruotsalainen" on 15 Jan 2010 20:40 A little bit of warning: CP still doesn't support for example HE-AACv2 files and definitely lacks in some other areas too as an audio player. However, as a video player, it's simply the best and most efficient; that is, if you not only want to play back audio but also video (other than WMV, which is best handled by WMP), it should be your first choice. Yeah - that app looks indeed like a nice player but is has the BIG and for me inexcusable flaw, that it apparently ONLY lists music stored ON the device itself (i.e. not on a storage card). Since all my music is on the storage card (the built-in flash memory is cram-packed with apps...) that's making it totally useless to me. Michael

Again, I'm puzzled. I have the stand-alone HTC-AM running on a couple of pre-Touchflo devices (XDA-Orbit and XDA-MiniS) , and I have the built-in version running on two later devices (XDA-Guide and HTC-HD2). They ALL read and index the music files on the storage card and in main-memory. -- WH |
