After installing SP 2 for Windows Server 2003 SPS cannot create a portal. Any
help would be appreciated. See below extract from the log:

Maybe because there is no SP2 for Windows Server 2003.

Did you install the XP SP2 by mistake?

Thanks for anwering.

I did not install anything but the server administrator did. I dont know
which SP and I don't think is relevant. I should not have mentioned it. The
question remains what is the problem ?
