mail for xxxx loops back to myself
Query your mysql tables for the domains that loop: $ postmap -q 126.com mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql-va.cf || echo not found $ postmap -q 126.com mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql-vd.cf || echo not found In both cases the output should be the text "not found". Wietse ... 24 Mar 2010 11:11

Relayhost dependend on destination MX
Hi, Our smtp server has some issues when talking to some remote mx's. This results in a timeout and the message not being delivered (this was discussed on this mailinglist but there doesn't seem to be a real solution available now). I think it's not required but I have a doubt. How does the TLS negociation work ? I guess it is done by Postfix which ask... 16 Apr 2010 11:42

I’ve been banging my head away at this for a while today and all I have is a headache. Is there a (preferably generic) way to redirect *all* delivery to local accounts to $local@$mydomain instead of delivering to /var/mail/ ? (I’m trying to setup a true NULL CLIENT configuration so that even ‘mail $local’ works o... 9 Apr 2010 03:26
Should I update Postfix?
I am running CentOS 5.4 and the latest version of Postfix it has on the repository is version 2.3.3. After looking at the Postfix site I found out that that version is no longer updated. Is it worth downloading the source code for the latest stable version and manually compile and install it? Or is it worth sticking... 23 Mar 2010 21:45

Our Q2 patch cycle is coming up and I was going to upgrade 2.6.5 -> 2.6.6 on the servers but then though maybe 2.6.5 -> 2.7.0 might be in order. I have everything ready to go either way (download and created RPM's for both 2..6.6 and 2.7.0). Is there any consideration that needs to be made in regards to the confi... 23 Mar 2010 13:39
