From: JCS on 17 Mar 2010 08:49 Hello Everyone, I'm using Powerpoint 2007 (Office 2007 SP2) on a laptop running XP (sp3). THe problem I am experiencing is that if I have multiple charts (in this case 4) on a single slide, Powerpoint locks up. In addition, if I print the presentation, some of the charts will on various slides not display. Has anyone seen this problem before, and if so, is there any workaround or resolution to this problem?
From: TAJ Simmons on 19 Mar 2010 06:00 JCS, If it was me - I'd break this slide down into 4 slides..... and then try and print each individual slide. Chances are there is just 'one' of the graphs powerpoint does not like. Try creating a new presentation with 4 simple graphs on one slide - does that print? cheers TAJ Simmons PowerPoint Master http://www.awesomebackgrounds.com awesome - powerpoint templates, powerpoint backgrounds, free samples, ppt tutorials... From: JCS on 19 Mar 2010 10:08 Hi TAJ, Thanks for the reply. The problem is that these presentations were created in Powerpoint 2003 and work great there. The problem occurs in 2007. Plus this is a GM customer and would not be receptive to breaking up the slides into separate sheets. Sorry for my late reply. I suspect Taj meant to do this as a test ... a way of isolating the shape or object that's giving PPT/printing fits. > > John > > "TAJ Simmons" wrote: > > > JCS, > > > > If it was me - I'd break this slide down into 4 slides..... and then try and > > print each individual slide. > > > > Chances are there is just 'one' of the graphs powerpoint does not like. > > > > Try creating a new presentation with 4 simple graphs on one slide - does > > that print? > > > > cheers > > TAJ Simmons > > PowerPoint Master > > > > http://www.awesomebackgrounds.com > > awesome - powerpoint templates, > > powerpoint backgrounds, free samples, ppt tutorials... > > > > "JCS" <JCS(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > > news:B44F63F9-2BAF-4CCF-A031-47B13200216C(a)microsoft.com... > > > Hello Everyone, > > > I'm using Powerpoint 2007 (Office 2007 SP2) on a laptop running XP (sp3). > > > THe problem I am experiencing is that if I have multiple charts (in this > > > case > > > 4) on a single slide, Powerpoint locks up.
