From: Butch Chappelle on 15 Apr 2010 09:50 I have hyperlinks to program files in a high school math class but they will not work in presenter view, where I can see my notes etc. I have tried using the second monitor as an extension of the computer monitor so that the editing view is on my computer and the slide is viewed on the second monitor. The hyperlink can be executed on the second monitor but the program opens on the computer monitor and isn't visible to the class. The only way I can find to view the program is when both are showing the slide. Is there a way which allows me to see my notes and the audience to see the program opened by a hyperlink? thanks Butch
From: Chirag on 15 Apr 2010 11:32 Hi, Look at Display Assistant from http://officeone.mvps.org/display_assist/display_assist.html - it allows you to "clone" your application's window on multiple monitors. You would open the hyperlink from the slide show running on the second monitor and it would launch the program on the primary monitor. You then need to use Display Assistant to also show your program on the secondary monitor. T'would be nice if the link on the presenter's monitor worked, but since it doesn't, what about simply dragging the new window over to the second monitor? |
