I had some .avi files that I imported into movie maker a couple of months
ago, and they worled perfectly well (no codec error at that point). When I
moved these files to a different folder on the computer, the imported files
no longer worked. I understood that I had to re-import the files again from
their new location. However, when I tried, it says that the required codec
was not installed. I do not understand how this could happen since those
files worked perfectly well in movie maker before, and I fail to see how the
codec could have disappeared. I would greatly appreciate any input upon this
matter!
