I've wondered the same thing and from what I could find it wasn't cheap.
Plus I believe you have to renew it year-to-year so this isn't a one and
done deal.

Also you may want to consider that Students get a SIGNIFICANT discount so if
you are in the market "AND" going to school you may be able to get a more
reasonable price. I "Think" the student price is under $200. but don't
quote me on that.
