From: PT on 5 May 2010 23:19 I suspect this is an old Outlook 2007 , Windows 7 question. Suppose I wish to print a selected portion of an email message in Outlook 2007. In either Outlook Express or Outlook 2003 al I do is open the message, highlight the desired selection, then click File | Print | Selection. But in Outlook 2007, when I select a message, and click File | Print, the Print Selection is not present, or possibly hidden elsewhere. I can either print the entire email, or selected entire pages. So in the new improved Outlook 2007, whats the correct procedure to print a desired selection?

Yes in Office 2007 SP2, the option of printing selected sections from messages. This must be done through the browser view. Follow these step by step instructions: 1.In the open message, on the Message tab, in the Actions group, click Other Actions, and then click View in Browser. If you see a security message, click OK to continue. 2.In the message, select the section that you want to print. Select the text or other part of the message directly in the browser window. 3.On the browser toolbar, click the arrow next to the Print button, and then click Print. 4.Under Page Range, click Selection, and then click Print. hth |
