From: Laurens on 31 Mar 2010 08:16 I am experiencing the same problem. I am running windows 7 64 bit Pro and I am trying to install matlab 2010a on my laptop. When I start the installer. The splash windows appears however afterwards no output on the screen appears. Meanwhile the process setup.exe in my task manager takes up completely one processor core. I've tried installing other 64 bit versions and I experienced that also release 2009b is experiencing the same problem. Only the installer of release 2009a is working properly. Please help me! From: Laurens on 31 Mar 2010 08:26 I am experiencing the same problem. I'am running win 7 64 bit Pro and trying to install matlab r2010a. When I start the installer the splash screen appears, however then nothing happens. Meanwhile in my taskmanager the process setup.exe takes up completely one core of my processor. I don't have a physical disc but i am using the java webinstaller. After downloading I also tried manually double clicking on setup.exe which leads to the above mentionned behaviour. I've also tried installing other 64 bit releases and I experienced the same with release 2009b. Only the installer of release 2009a is working properly. please help! Laurens
