This is caused by a cosmetic counting bug in Outlook 2007 that causes it to include the number of accounts in its calculation of the display of how many messages there are to send. Leave it to M$ to not fix an egregious error like that... ;) Anyway, I'm glad it is that, I thought there might be a trojan on my system sending messages and then deleting them from the Sent Items folder. .
