Be sure that the symlinks are not broken in /lib/modules/2.6.33.x and work as expected. I have a fairly generic install of Slackware 13.0, which I have updated to the latest kernel, 2.6.33.2. I used a configuration very similar to that provided by the generic Slackware -current kernel. Here is a file with some specifics about my setup, which I have verified works for me: http://www.xmission.com/~ddmayne/misc/2010-04-04.01.tar Perhaps, you could make some comparisons between the set of installed packages, etc. -- Douglas Mayne
