Everytime I try to insert an image or table into my page, I get a comment
instead:

<!-- MENU-LOCATION=NONE -->

It also inserts this in the head:

<!-- Copyright 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 Macromedia, Inc. All rights reserved. -->

And puts this in my title:

<title>
<MMString:LoadString id="insertbar/image" />
</title>

Anyone, please help this is urgent. I'm dead in the water!

a suggestion would be to rename the Configuration folder for You as a User.
Export the site definitions first to make sure you have them backed up.
