It goes beyond the log limits. I'm checking that server only when the client tells me something wrong is going on which is rather quite rare. I spotted that problem when checking another one. So I can't really tell when this particular one started occurring and what has changed. The only thing the client does on that server is storing their data and emails. They install all the critical updates themselves which is the only change they do to the system without consulting. Possibly one of the updates could have triggered that error. As to the SBS SP1 according to the Add/Remove Programs list it is there. If BPA says it wasn't installed successfully it may mean that parts of the installation failed at which point I wonder if it would be safe to uninstall it based only on BPA diagnostics. The service pack was installed mid 2007 so it's been running for quite a while, who knows what can go wrong when trying to remove it at this point... yaro
