From: mikejw on 24 Mar 2010 08:21 Hello, I recently switched from Windows XP to Windows 7 and noticed I had lost data in text fields after the switch in my Project 2007 file. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Thanks.
From: Rob Schneider on 25 Mar 2010 03:18 I'm running Project 2007 on XP, Vista, and Win 7 machines and have not noticed this. My hunch is that it is a coincidence and not related to the change in operating system. Specifically, what text fields have what data lost? Can you move to a previous version of your MPP from your backup store to confirm at what point data is not as you expected? --rms www.rmschneider.com On 24/03/10 12:21, mikejw wrote: > Hello, I recently switched from Windows XP to Windows 7 and noticed I had > lost data in text fields after the switch in my Project 2007 file. From: mikejw on 25 Mar 2010 07:45 Hello Rob, Yeah, I traced back through my backups and the data in these text fields were there the Friday before the switch over that Saturday and gone the following Monday and all subsequent files. I had text in Text Fields 6, 15, 20 & 30. These fields contained data needed for our Earned Value software. I have since copied and pasted the needed data back in, just thought I would see if anyone had similar issues. Thanks for your reply!
