Goal: Migrate portal content and enhance user experience while moving
from SP 2007 to SP 2010.

In attempting to estimate the size various implementation options, I
am trying to understand the pros and cons of each of the following:

** Option A: Greenfield
Start from scratch, phased build out of new system, aligned
with business requirements.
Migrate appropriate content in phases based on functionality
delivered.

** Option B: Migrate then Build
Initial migration of entire system from SP 2007 to SP 2010.
Remediation of migration issues.
Phased reengineering of system aligned with business
requirements.

Thanks for sharing other experiences, including project sizing best
practices, that have worked successfully.
