From: Anton on 6 Apr 2010 09:12 Hello, is it possible to use a MSDN Retail Proofing Tools Version within a Company? We can"t seem to find a company version of the proofing tools. It also seems the proofing tools for office 2003 aren't sold anymore. Thank you for the info in advance. Anton
From: Earle Horton on 6 Apr 2010 14:02 Check your MSDN licensing agreement to be sure. My guess is that unless your company is a software development company (MSDN means "Microsoft Software Developer Network") then no. You're right, Microsoft Office Proofing Tools 2003 isn't sold anymore. I had a devil of a time getting a copy four years ago. From: Anton on 6 Apr 2010 14:42 So it seems like I have no chance getting a volume license or something like that for the proofing tools anymore ?!? Do you have a suggestion how we can do it? I need to put German proofing tools on 6 computers. Thank you! Anton "Earle Horton" wrote: > Check your MSDN licensing agreement to be sure. From: Tom Willett on 6 Apr 2010 15:03 If it's no longer available, neither is licensing. And, the MSDN version, if it exists as part of the subscription, cannot be used in a production environment.
