From: Jim on 11 Feb 2010 17:32 Publisher wont see my printer at work ever since I used my printer at home to touch up a few menus. Windows sees the work printer (a canon) and is set as the default printer and I can print in all programs except Publisher with the canon . I can print in Publisher with my home printer (a Dell) with no problems. When I go to print a doc in Publisher the printer doesn't show up in the drop down menu in Publisher. I am using Win 7 and Publisher is a trial version with three weeks left until activation. Thx Jim
From: Mary Sauer on 12 Feb 2010 10:48 Publisher saves all printer information with each publication. When you saved the file at home you saved your home printer information. Can you select your preferred printer in File, Print setup? Open the file as administrator, can you print now? Can you save as a PDF? Microsoft has a save as PDF add in. Not sure it will work with a trial, if it does save as a PDF, print the PDF. https://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=4D951911-3E7E-4AE6-B059-A2E79ED87041&displaylang=en -- Mary Sauer http://msauer.mvps.org/ "Jim" <Homey(a)eheclown.net> wrote in message news:%23IIlOo2qKHA.3792(a)TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... > Publisher wont see my printer at work ever since I used my printer at home to > touch up a few menus.
