From: mrcamp on 30 May 2010 08:59 Prepaid sims can be bought easily, so that should not be a problem. However, as mentioned already, that phone is lacking the 900 band. It will work in major cities, but could have some problems in the more remote areas. It's just like using a phone without one of the 2 AT&T bands (850/1900) with AT&T. Just ask her to buy a phone with the 900/1800 bands if her phone starts to show signs of not getting signal. Mobile phones are so cheap these days, that even a new quadband phone (850/900/1800/1900) can be had for about $30. -- mrcamp
