From: Otto Pylot on 20 Mar 2010 13:45 First of all, I don't understand certificates and kechain. I understand what certificates are for, but editing them, adding them, deleting, them etc is beyond me. I have a MacBook with 10.6.2 and a Dell D620 (XP Pro and IE8.0). I only use the Dell to connect to work from home via a Citrix client. I recently discovered that there was a Citirx client released for the Mac for web access. I installed it without any problems. It launched and I was able to log into work from home with either Firefox 3.5.8 or Safari 4.0.5. However, when I go to launch any applications, I get the error message, " You have not chosen to trust "Go Daddy Secure Certificate Authority", the issuer of the server's security certificate". So, I go to Keychain Access and find the certificate. I don't understand any of the info displayed but it does say "This certificate is marked as trusted for all users". If I set it to "Use System Defaults" the certificate changes to "This certificate is valid", just like all of the other certificates in Keychain. So the question is why. Why can I login to the Citrix server at work with my MacBook from home but not launch any applications (specifically Outlook to check my email)? Is it a configuration thing on my end or is the the Citrix server at work not liking Macs, Safari, and/or Firefox? I remember tht I had to use IE8.0 on the Dell to get the Citrix client to work becuase it wouldn't work under Firefox for Windows or any version of IE other than 8.0. Thanks. -- Deja Moo: I've seen this bullshit before. My address has been anti-spammed. Please reply to: scasse(a)invalid.net replacing invalid with sonic.
