Thanks, but I'm not sure why you felt the need to copy/paste someone

For the record I have seen things you wouldn't believe but you have no
knowledge of that. I don't feel the need to drone on about it like you.

I'm not sure what you mean by "commonplace intelligence" but it is
you who are the fool, because you simply don't understand what drives
many peoples' actions. Those two books I quoted previously would give
you an insight into that and explain how many people are engulfed in
hatred of themselves and the world they live in and will go to
virtually any lengths to create a new utopia, always at the expense of
others. Socialism is one such movement, Fundamental Islam is another.

"to be truly free". I recall a famous Nazi quoted as saying:
"we now have the freedom to abolish freedom".

Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Brown also had a habit of describing big-statism
as making people "free". Hell, the Nazis even had the slogan "work will
set you free" plastered across the entrance to concentration camps.
I think that's what you mean here...
