From: Lino on 28 Jun 2010 23:35 According to Henry Stapp and John Eccles. There is another way quantum mechanics or the world of superposition can affect the brain other than entangement. It has to do with the probabilistic nature of neurotransmitter release and depolarization. The calcium ion channel is very small almost the size of the ion and it takes quantum probability whether it can enter or not. So consciousness according to Stapp can control the probability whether the ion can enter or not and dictate behavior of the brain. Can we create experiment to test this. What machines have this nature too where quantum probability works... with many inputs and outputs such that we can bind a quantum entity to it. Quantum entity being consciousness or even ghosts. This means we can build ghosts a physical body if Stapp is right. So where do we start in this Stapp experiment? Once the ghosts can be bind to the machine. We can create hands and feets where they can transport around. And they can become indistinguisble from physical sentient beings that we humans are. |
