Although vibration of strings and branes and superstrings are central
to String and Superstring and M-Theory, vibration according to the
Human Scenario Physics (HSP) that I have been developing from Probable
Causation/Influence (PI) in the last few posts is a DISTORTION or
FUZZIFICATION of the real underlying physics.

Yet Strings, Superstrings, Branes do appear to play an important role
WITHOUT vibration and WITHOUT distortion/fuzzification. In some
analogy with annihilation and creation operators, the Universe appears
to be able to generate "internally vibrating" objects whose vibrations
are not relative to or even measured by or relative to external
spacetime.

Let us back up a moment and recall that according to PI, the Universe
has the following intrinsic or internal ability:

1) The Universe can generate Expansion-Contraction (either or both)
along straight lines or geodesics, or more relevantly IN PARTICULAR
DIRECTIONS, and it can do so SIMULTANEOUSLY IN DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS.

Readers can as an exercise discover that (1) above enables the
Universe to generate open and closed strings and branes GEOMETRICALLY
if not MATERIALLY ("physically"). Simply take a point of the Universe
or a near-point (tiny neighborhood, like a tiny sphere) and expand
equally in all directions to the same radius and in the same time to
create a spherical geometric brane. To create a closed string, simply
distinguish a 2-dimensional cross-section or slice of the sphere in 3
dimensions (a circle). To create an open string, simply distinguish
a 1-dimensional cross-section (radius, chord) of the sphere in 3
dimensions (an open curve or arc). Of course, since expansion-
contraction is not limited to spheres but can form any shape by
expanding differently in different directions, any open and closed
bounded strings or branes can be formed.

The one difficulty concerns the word "distinguish" in the above. The
Universe must be able to ERASE part of the geometric object that it
has constructed. This is formalized as:

2) The Universe can ERASE any part of its geometric Expansion-
Contraction.

Finally, to have Physical Effects as with Fermions and Bosons, we only
needs one further axiom or formalization:

3) The Universe can add or subtract Energy-Density or Matter-Density
or "internal vibration" as defined above to any geometric object that
it generates, which can be visualized as Expansion-Contraction IN THE
ENERGY/MATTER realm.

So the usually closed-string Graviton and the other various bosons and
fermions are arguably generated in this manner.

These are the underlying M-theory objects behind the distortions-
fuzzifications that we refer to as "vibrating strings," "waves",
"fields". Formally:

4) (1)-(3) above generate the underlying M-theory objects behind the
distortions-fuzzifications referred to as "vibrating strings",
"waves", "fields" which are external-observer approximations to the
actual physics.

As for the role of Probability, or Probability-Statistics, it is not a
measure of distortion-fuzzification in PI, but of spacetime volume and/
or Causation, formally:

5) Probability in the new scenario is a measure of spacetime volume
(like (finite) Lebesgue measure) and/or Causation rather than a
measure of distortion-fuzzification.
