Quick Question about Matlab

From: Aaron on 8 Jun 2010 14:13 I paid $20 to get a CD with Matlab on it from my school assuming I could use the program whenever I needed. Now, when I try to use the activation key it says it is expired. It hasn't even been 1 year since I bought it. I didn't even need to buy MatLab but I thought it might be useful in the future. Did I waste my $20? I can't use it anymore?

You're sure you bought a legitimate copy from your school? The Mathworks offers free telephone support for all installation issues, including the student version. I suggest you call them.

Campus licences need to be updated from time to time, but you should be able of doing that under the campus licence. $20 is a price of a CD incl. small fee for burning it. I understood your post as a sincerely meant question, but somebody was maybe not that sincere with you.
