Get rid of Quicken (The return of the 90's) I remember over the years Quicken has had many problems .. now I have to report that Moneydance wins. Today Quicken completely screwed up my 401K, there was 1 transaction from Prudential, a dividend reinvest (simple?) .. it made 4 transactions out of this, 2 placeholders (?) and two transactions .. the net resul... 16 Mar 2010 18:33
Is there a way to add archived transactions? A few years ago, due to horrible delays during reconciling (10 second wait after each reconciling click, or 10 second wait after entering a transaction) I was concerned that my data file was too large, and I started a new file, I now know it was a bug which was not fixed until Quicken 2010 (problem survived ... 12 Mar 2010 19:31
Should I install Q2010 or continue with Q2009? With all the grief that Q2010 seems to be causing, I wonder if it's not as good as Q2009, equally as good, or an improvement. Would appreciate anyone's opinion. The issue isn't money. I already have the program ... just have been delaying installing it because of all the complaints I've read. ... 11 Mar 2010 14:32
gain % vs total return vs high divs In looking at our Investing tab portfolio holdings, I usually review the % gain to see how things are doing. This reflects the stock/fund price gain/loss, which usually indicates how the investment is performing. Q2010: Problem importing credit card transactions due to changed number My credit card number was replaced due to compromised data at an unnamed merchant. So, when I try to import credit card transactions, Q2010 insists on a new credit card account. I can live with that but don't want to. q2009- hidden accts not hidden everywhere I recently closed out an account and wanted to hide it from any and all screens.
