From: Samuel Foucher on 3 Jul 2010 09:06 I'm trying to run Matlab R2009b 32 bits on a Windows 7 (Ultimate 64 bits) system, the installation went fine but now it won't open, however Matlab.exe runs in the background. I've tried the following without success: 1. turning off Aero Glass Interface 2. playing with the various compatibility modes (XP, Vista, etc.) 3. running the program as an administrator thank you

From: Samuel Foucher on 3 Jul 2010 13:17 Thanks for the answer, unfortunately I have a VPN and it's the only way I can connect to the license server! I guess I have to go back to a version before 2009b. That bug exists in 2009b and 2010a. It seems to be fixed in 2010b prerelease, you could try that that too.
