Hi All,
I have a client who just started having an issue with exchange 2003 with outlook 2003 on an SBS03 server box.
Yesterday afternoon everyone started getting the message "trying to retrieve data from server" balloons.
I rebooted the server which did not fix the problem.
I have no messages/errors in the event logs.
The problem is still occurring.
In Perfmon, my averaged latency is upwards of 10000 and my number of RPC requests is hovering between 5 and 6.
I cannot for the life of me figure out what is going on to cause the latency!
Can someone shed some light on this?
Oh, this is the only server in the building.
Jerry

Have you looked at CPU and Memory usuage?
Are any other apps having the same issue?

CPU and memory all appear normal - as does NIC traffic.
No other apps are having an issue, and all users can get a good response time while browsing to their individual fileshares.
Nobody is having a problem logging onto the domain/server either.
