From: Mogens Nielsen - WM-Data A/S on 28 Mar 2007 10:32 Hi all, I'm in deep trouble and hoping someone can help me out.. I have got a report which runs perfectly fine on the development environment and the testing environment, however not in the production environment. The report consists of a main report containing several subreports - one of those subreports containing a link to some external image. This image won't be displayed and could be the cause of my problems... I'm not quiet sure. The IIS servers look completely the same. The rsreportserver.config look the same When looking into the logfiles of the reporting services service I see the following entries, which are not present on the working systems: INFO: Call to RenderFirst ( '<REPORTNAME>' ) ERROR: Throwing Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.WrongItemTypeException: The operation you are attempting on item '<SUBREPORTNAME>' is not applicable to this item type., Has anyone seen the exception above - also known as rsWrongItemTypeException and why has it been thrown?? Hope someone can help me out although it's the old crappy RS - actually it's SP2. Regards, Mogens Nielsen
