RWW (SBS) with SonicWall: Lan = OK Wan = No Go :(

I am able to go to the RWW service without any issue but not to connect to remote computer when going trough WAN. LAN works, but only when using the FQDN, not the web adress. I've configured the SonicWall as stated here: http://www.homeserverland.com/wiki/w/whs/sonicwall-tz-210-appliance.aspx and the equivalent https://www.fuzeqna.com/sonicwallkb/consumer/kbdetail.asp?kbid=5211 except that I am using DHCP from the SBS instead of the gateway. From: Dave Nickason [SBS MVP] on 19 Jan 2010 17:12 So from the WAN, you are connecting to RWW as expected. Then once connected, you can't connect to a client PC on the LAN. But if you connect to RWW from within the LAN from a different client, you can then connect to the other client PC as expected. Is that right? When you attempt to connect to the client PC from RWW, what's the exact error you get? From: Jim Behning SBS MVP on 19 Jan 2010 21:12 State your firewall rules. The Sonicwall has public server wizards which are safer to run than trying to create your own rules. I had a rule go belly up last week. I updated the firmware, deleted the rule and recreated it. In addition, does this issue occurs to paticualar user or to all domain users? If there is any error message, please post back for further analysis. Just a reminder, please check and make sure port 443/80/4125 are open on the firwall/router inorder to use RWW externally. You may telnet the public SBS server IP with ports to confirm. Also as Jim indicated, please check the firewall rules for sure. AFAIK, improper configuration of ISA server rules may cause this kind of issue. I agree-- always try the wizards on a Sonicwall first. But if the rules don't come out quite right, it isn't always as simple as rerunning the wizard. You may have to hack out manually what the wizard did before you can start over. The Sonicwall wizards aren't like SBS wizards.
