Hi Folks, For the last few months I have encountered increasingly more
problems and issues with my WINXP Home. It has come down to a decision to do
a complete and clean re-install. Problem is, I do not want to over-write the
existing primary partition and want to do the clean install on a secondary
partition (NTFS) so that I can migrate existing 3rd party apps to the new
partition without having to re-install each of them. Althought some will need
a clean re-install as well because of missing or corrupted .dll files. So my
question is... If I attempt a re-install of XP will I be able to choose the
partition to which I want it to load? Also, will such a re-install have any
impact upon the existing registry? Thanks, Freddie
