From: Redhead on 9 Feb 2010 13:01 I hated waiting, so changed my User Accounts and unchecked the Welcome Screen (& switch user) boxes. Now when I boot up, it loads fast....but I've completely lost my sound. I've tried troubleshooting which shows all working, but it doesn't. So I tried to re-do the welcome. Changed user accounts back to checked boxes. I still do not get welcome screen, but now I can logoff and switch user and when I switch user, I get all my sound again, windows noises, music, skype. How do I fix, either way....a)get the sound on the administrator page or b)get my welcome screen back. I've tried to restore, but when that restarts it says it could not restore.
