From: Tim Meddick on 4 Apr 2010 17:58 No - you either have recently opened documents saved into the "Recently Opened Documents" list or not. However, it is possible to get this list to automatically clear when you reboot. To do this, open [Regedit.exe] and create a new binary value named "ClearRecentDocsOnExit" and give it a value of "01,00,00,00" under the following reg-key : [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer] OR... Download a [simple] reg-file that will do this for you, from the web-page by clicking on the link below : http://www.4shared.com/file/257054158/42b8b61b/ClearRecentDocsOnExit__On_.html ....just double-click on it to import the setting. == Cheers, Tim Meddick, Peckham, London. :-) "Big_Al" <BigAl(a)md.com> wrote in message news:uJi$P0D1KHA.348(a)TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > The history of those recent documents, is there a setting that controls how long > they stay there?
