If you're at the point where removing updates and SP uninstall files is useful to you, you are woefully in need of increasing the size of that drive. If you don't have at least 15% free space, you can't even do a defrag effecitvely, and your pagefile is probably struggling to keep up. Drives are so cheap these days that IMO there is no excuse to not get a larger drive and clone your OS to it. I have a few unique applications, but I have 50 Gig avalable for my OS drive and it's not all that much extra space. It's hovering around 30% right now. I've also maxxed out RAM to stop most use of the pagefile, and placed the pagefile on another physical drive that has lots of room. I'd think you'd at least want 500 Gig or maybe only 360 Gig of drive space, but ... you sure do need a larger boot drive! HTH, Twayne`

When you get home, check under the cushions on your sofa. 2. Collect the abandoned coins. 3. Use the coins to buy a terabyte drive tomorrow morning. 4. Copy contents of existing drive to new disk.
