From: Andy on 11 May 2010 20:36 What is the best way to record Internet video clips? From YouTube, to News clips and everything in between. Given the size of the video files I don't plan to keep these on the PC but probably record them on DVDs. Is there a video format that is better than other formats - like say mp3 for audio? And how about a Video player? This started last night - I downloaded a video in an m4v format and after looking it up on Google decided to stop and look more into this. Any thoughts and suggestions are appreciated. Thanks. Andy

However, considering what it catches, I don't know of freeware that can do nearly as well. You can get it free it you're willing to endure their TrialPay scheme (where you agree to participate in some offer). This is how I got it for free but I picked an offer that would be easy to terminate before any money got involved.

From: baynole2 on 11 May 2010 21:37 DownloadHelper, Firefox extension, works well for me. I can burn the flv's w/ DVDFlick, & watch w/ VLC.
