I have already done those things In between my writing my message to you and you posting your several messages to me did you do what I suggested above, in exactly the order in which I suggested it? If not, please do so, and then send your results to the list as I asked you to do. I do realize that you've been doing a lot of rebuilding, and that at various times in the past you've done everything I suggested above. However there is a reason I suggested what I did, in precisely the way I did. hth, Doug -- Improve the effectiveness of your Internet presence with a domain name makeover! http://SupersetSolutions.com/ Computers are useless. Your posting gave the impression you had concluded, at the time of writing I had not followed instructions that others had given. I had however posted evidence to show the results of those instructions. > However there is a reason I suggested what I did, in > precisely the way I did. > I cc'd to you a post to the list 10 minutes before you wrote the above. My posting included a link to a script ***script_link*** showing the results obtained from your instructions which were no different to those previously reported. That link was also posted to the list. Anyway that is all history. Its more important to see if a solution can be found. I understand I am not the only one with the same problem. ______________________________________________________________ ***script_link*** ________________________________________________________________ -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-ports(a)freebsd.org [mailto:owner-freebsd-ports(a)freebsd.org] On Behalf Of david(a)vizion2000.net Sent: 03 July 2010 12:09 To: dougb(a)FreeBSD.org Cc: freebsd-ports(a)freebsd.org Subject: Re: Redland compile error missing librdf Hi Doug The script obtained from following the instructions you gave is at ftp.vizion2000.net/pub/kdelibs-build6. You will see that the final results are the same as those posted as a result of recompiling the whole kde4 tree which also appeared in the original posting. This error seems to be associated with the failure of kdegraphics4 shown in both the tail of this script and the tail of the script for the compilation of the whole kde4 tree. Could this have anything to do with the system being amd64? That link was also posted to the list. I'm sorry to hear that you're still having problems. Have you tried installing packages for the affected ports? That may get you over the hump so that you can move on. I think the only other valid solution at this point would be to delete ALL of your ports, 'rm -rf /var/db/ports/*' and then start over. Obviously that's an extreme solution but at this point I think you're running out of options. Last night I decided to try installing redland & soprano from packages and got an interesting result. Whether it help someone diagnose the problem I do not know. After pkg_add -r redland soprano I tried to build kdelibs4 and hot the following error: ________________________________________________________________ " CMake error at CMakeliststxt:236 (include): include could not load file: SopranoAddOntology CMake error at nepomuk/CFMakeLists.txt:3 (include): include could not load file: SopranoAddOntology CMake error at nepomuk/CFMakeLists.txt:3 (soprano_add_ontology): Unknown CMake Command "soprano_add_ontology. Configuring incomplete, errors occurred! *** Error Code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/x11/kdelibs4 " ___________________________________________________________________ I found the following report of a similar error http://www.pubbs.net/200912/kde/6354-soprano-error-building-kdepim-trunk.htm l _______________________________________________ freebsd-ports(a)freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-ports To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-ports-unsubscribe(a)freebsd.org" |
