Downloaded all updates using Windows update about a week ago. All present
AFAIK.

A couple of months ago I also updated Win ME through Windows update. Most
of the important ones were still available.

AFAIK end of support does not mean
updates will not be available anymore.

It means there will not be any *new* updates anymore.
