There was also a wrestler named Superstar Billy Graham. He was a big
name before the Hogan era.

I hope not!
As a kid my favorite player was Gene Washington (49ers not Vikes). I had him
on all my book covers. http://www.sonicmusic.net/G_Washington.jpg

No complaints on Namath and Allworth either.
Was McVea wearing a Bengal or Chief uniform? Or was it the University of
Houston?

I remember Gene Washington well. Another great! I am 98 percent sure McVea
was in a Bengal uniform. I went to the University of Houston for like one
year. It was like this college that was so big you never saw anybody twice
unless they were in your class. My philosophy teacher was just like a Sam
Kinison when he unloaded all of his rage on poor Rodney Dangerfield in "Back
to School".

Quick stupid Rodney joke and I liked Rodney. "So I go into this bar and the
bartender says what would you like and I say surprise me. So he pulls out
his wallet and shows me a naked picture of my wife."
