From: hbjimmy on 12 Apr 2010 17:19 hello. I have the following environment. 2003 domain, all 2003 file servers 1 2008 r2 RDS (terminal services) server. Out of the blue, the 2008 server can no longer access 2003 file servers via netbios host names. This has happened to many different 2003 file servers, not just one. A reboot always fixes the issue, but there is no telling how long before it happens again. It has already happened 2 times today. I can ping the host, and I can still access the server via IP address and FQDN. I have disabled IPv6. Here is a technet forum explaining my exact issue, but there is still no solution. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-SG/windowsserver2008r2networking/thread/9f93508c-71fa-4807-b41a-8f558563afe3?prof=required&ppud=4 I appreciate anyone's help, thanks! |
