I hope this is the right place to ask this. I am not a driver developer but
I have three products using the Sypress USB driver, cyusb.sys.

I understand it is best to rename this driver for distribution but I am
having trouble determining what I have to rename in the .inf file. If I
change every instance of 'cyusb' the driver no longer installs and works
correctly.

I think if I just had a couple of hints I may be able to pull it off. But I
am lost.

Thank you very much.

Elan.

There is an utility in the WDK called CHKINF. Run that on your INF and it
will point out if there are any errors in the INF.

If you are using the unmodified cyusb.sys driver, then there's probably no
reason to rename it.
