System Information Platform: Windows XP Service Pack 3 Machine Type: Intel System Version: 5.01.2600 Processor: Pentium 4 Physical RAM Installed: 1014 MB Eudora: Version 7.1.0.9 Mode: Sponsored Mode Registration #: MSHTML Version: 8.00 WININET Version: 8.00 Please describe the problem: On main screen ("Inbox" ), Eudora repeatedly - every few seconds - start to search for new messages. Icon in bottom R corner rotates. When closed down I get the message - "you currently have have two tasks running". This also happens on a Sony Vaio alptop running Windows Vista! Please provide the following information: What operating system are you using (please provide the exact version)? Windows XP SP3 What Internet browser(s) do you have installed (please provide exact version(s))? Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18702 What version of Eudora are you running? Which mode are you using (sponsored, paid or light)? 7.1.0.9 Sponsored Can you consistently duplicate the problem? If so, please list the exact steps to reproduce the problem. Switch on and wait for a few minutes
