Win 2003 Server / SQL 2005 SP2 Std Ed Pub/Subscribers(7-LAN, 1-WAN) / Distr

I have a pub w/ 200 tables, approx 30gb

Subscriber is across WAN. I use log shipping to sync instead of snapshot
agent. When adding snapshot w/ nosync ('Repl Support Only') I have noticed
severe blocking on publisher in past.

This time I stopped the log reader agent, added subscription w/ nosync, all
ok here, started log reader agent. Everything great.

Now I notice records missing on our other subscribers. The time that they
were inserted at publisher was when I paused the log reader agent. These
records did not replicate at all to the LAN subscribers. WHY? Now I have
major data integrity problems on all my subscribers and cannot just reinit. I
have never before had integrity issues like this. What the heck could be
wrong?
