From: Armidalean on 14 Feb 2010 17:35 I have created a report using labels for our office filing system (the report includes file names to be stuck on the bottom of our paper files). Instead of the report including the field names I requested it prints out the field ID numbers. How do I fix this?
From: Steve on 14 Feb 2010 18:19 Create a query that includes the table you are using for the report and the field name table. Include in the query the fields you need to print out including the field name field. Use this query as the recordsource of your report. Be sure to change any report fields control source that have changed. OP look at http://home.tiscali.nl/arracom/whoissteve.html (Website has been updated and has a new 'look'... we have passed 11.000 pageloads... it's a shame !!) For those who don't 'agree' with this mail , because $teve was 'helping' with his post... We warned him a thousand times... Sad, but he is not willing to stop advertising... He is just toying with these groups... advertising like hell... on and on... for years... oh yes... and sometimes he answers questions... indeed... and sometimes good souls here give him credit for that... ==> We are totally 'finished' with $teve now... ==> Killfile 'Stop$teve and you won't see these mails.... Without detailed, precise, and concise information about what you have and what you are trying to accomplish, it is not possible for anyone to offer you useful suggestions. What data do you have and what data are you using for the Record Source of your Report, and for the Control Source of the Control that is coming out wrong? Larry Linson Microsoft Office Access MVP
