From: Aravind G on 10 Mar 2010 10:53 Hi, I have done 2 baselinings to one of my projects. But I missed taking a copy of the schedule before both baselinings. Is it possible to retrieve the schedule before and after both baselinings? Really appreciate your help. -- Thanks and Regards, Aravind G
From: Rob Schneider on 10 Mar 2010 11:06 Project does not keep "old" data in the file. Sorry. If you have over-written the file and do not have other copies of the old file, you can't recover this data. What we do is store versions of MPP file into SharePoint which handles the version history. Doesn't have to be SharePoint...any file version management tool would work. I work on the files stored locally; but upon the end of each editing session I upload the results to SharePoint. The upload is automatic with a syncing tool we use. This allows me to to back to pretty much any previous version I want. And since I know it is easy for me to make mistakes I have built this work process and pretty-much automated backup process to help catch these mistakes. --rms www.rmschneider.com On 10/03/10 15:53, Aravind G wrote: > Hi, > > I have done 2 baselinings to one of my projects.
