As in, will the fans/drives put too much torque and get out of whack?
(no, it'll be fine).

Or, as in the system is so top heavy now, that its in danger of
toppling over (quite possibly).

Or block the CD tray and floppy openings.

Obviously, as others have said, you would need to avoid blocking the
air intakes/outlets.

I think the SPARC 20 was an excellent machine. I finally got around to
scapping mine, when my wife insisted I got rid of some of the 'junk'
in the garage. But one deficiency I always felt with the design was
the cooling was not sufficient. You might want to take a read of
